Heart of a Hippie but less of the hairy. (I do have a poor attempt at shaving to my knees every so often so I look more feminine in a summer frock, or if I think I might be getting lucky that night).
I’m a natural redhead with pale white skin, scruffy untamed curls with braids tied in.
I guess you’re wondering what makes me a ‘flower child’?
What makes me different? so free and wild? I can’t lie, I’m not wild at all; I’m in bed by 9 most nights.
I don’t smoke weed, bath in rivers or the sea,
but I do enjoy yoga, meditation and setting my mind free.
My lazy hippie mum lifestyle doesn’t mean I live in a tent.
I live in a house with wifi in the county of Kent.
I live with my fiancé and the joy he can bring… (Not. His totally the most miserable bloke I ever met) along with my son; Our gorgeous offspring.
My son, our child – he thinks he can rule!
Demanding and messy, but handsome and cool.
We all share a bedroom in our two bedroom house;
My fiancé, I, our son and his straggly old mouse.
The second room in our house is our walk in floordrobe:
washing, ironing and soggy bathrobes.
Being bohemian, I wear ethical clothes,
cruelty-free makeup and a ring through my nose.
The food I eat and products I buy
are ‘usually’ veggie costing as high as the Sky.
This is the start of my journey in which I’ll share,
my ambition to be healthy with gracious hair.
You see, I want to be vegan but I love milk and cheese,
Indian, pizza and the odd Chinese.
My plan is to try harder and share my pain,
becoming a vegan and my personal gain.
For now being a mummy is my biggest job;
all the nappies, bottles and slaving over the hob.
I’ll share my tests and triumphs with you,
anxiety, milestones and my battle through.
Outside adventures I love to review,
to share our happiness and hopefully inspire you.
The last thing to share is the most important to me,
how I’m becoming independent – not living for free.
Next week I begin just a small step.
After two years unemployed, I’ve got a lot to prep.
I’ve signed my contract and excited to start, in my lovely new uniform, all crisp and smart.
Aside of my job, I’ll be working from my lounge,
building our empire so we don’t have to scrounge (just the occasional dinner won’t go a miss though, Mum).
Please join our adventures and our crazy life about being a hippy and becoming a multimillionaire wife.
If you’ve read to here I’m extremely proud!
