An applause in the tent as the bright lasers shone.
The first act appeared to a thrilling song.
A character of fear with a skull on his face,
Hyping up the audience at a fast and scary pace.
Taking his place quickly on the wheel of death,
As the crowd gasped and screamed whilst holding their breath.
The metal cage span as the performers clung,
The minutes felt like hours as the suspense over hung.
Spinning fast at a scary high height,
A breathtaking few minutes but one hell of a sight!
James Bond then arrived with a gorgeous girl,
Putting on a show as he gave six knives a hurl.
Six sharp, shiny knives were thrown through the ring.
Embedding themself inches from the face of Bonds sexy plaything.
Slashing through paper into a fast spinning wheel,
Enough to make the toughest man squeal!
The next part of the show was my very favourite bit.
The spectacular bright and exciting laser show proved a big hit.
Dazzling cosmic lights illuminated the tent and crowd.
The beams synchronised to the music that played very loud.
Bouncing off walls and every single face,
Mesmerising the crowd into thinking we were in outer space.
Then out from the ceiling a hoop started to descend.
A stunning acrobat showed us how she could bend.
Twirling in the air, spinning like a bird in flight,
Circling the large arena at a daunting height.
James Bond arrived again with a hand full of balls,
Making them appear as if floating to the crowd in the stalls.
Turning his hands at juggling, he threw clubs in the air,
The audience waiting for him to drop one as we all started to stare.
The spellbinding finale made my heart skip some beats,
Whilst leaving the audience chanting on the edge of their seats.
The skull from the beginning climbed up to the edge of the tent,
Missing his footings on the tightrope to cause some torment.
The tricks escalated quickly as he retrieved a bike,
Making my stomach sink deeply and feel all childlike.
Excited for the moment the bike hit the rope,
Watching from afar praying that my heart would cope.
Will he make it to end? I gritted my teeth,
Petrified for the audience sitting beneath.
It was only when back on his platform I could sit in awe,
Relieved he had made it and not hit the floor.
Glued together by a handsome ringmaster who steals the show.
The circus was pieced together perfectly with an amazing flow.
The award for the funniest goes to the hilarious clown,
Breaking up the acts with his humour and comical frown.
Energising the children and making grown men laugh,
He was crazy and silly doing nothing by the half.
Would I run away with this circus? I most certainly would!
If you haven’t booked your tickets you most certainly should.
